So sorry to hear of …
So sorry to hear of your loss. You can begin to reclaim your life now though! Start small - small endeavours each day - when you feel anxious, B R E A T H E. And if that boyfriend is worth having, he’s not going anyway :] Panic disorder may be a mental disorder but I don’t consider you or me or anyone else with it ‘mentally ill’.

    So few people feel …
So few people feel like PKTO92 does. When you’re about to faint, the last thing you think about is trying to control them… maybe after it goes away and you feel a bit better, but that’s different.

  • courtez09:

    Its not a panic …
Its not a panic attack if you’re ‘about to faint’. In an attack your heart and blood start pumping faster making you more alert. If someone faints during a panic attack, its not a panic attack.

    Anyone have inner …
Anyone have inner ear problems? Here’s a suggestion: Get the book “Phobia Free” by Harold N. Levinson. get it used on amazon or from the library for I have no financial interest in Levinson’s work, just an emotional one. The book saved my life. Panic free for 16 years from a simple inner-ear medication called meclizine. Get your inner-ears checked, thoroughly. Write me, I’ll send links to 13 medical studies on pub-med showing link between panic/agor and inner ear problems. Correlation:60-90%.

  • pchanson42:

    My first attacks …
My first attacks were after smoking weed. Same trigger for both of us. Same trigger, same underlying cause? Get your ears checked by an ENT. Inner ear problems were the cause of my attacks. See my other comment.

i focus on the panic itself, if you try and act normal you run out of enegy in about 2 minutes, then i lose vision and cant hear anything,

if i focus on being in panic instead of hiding it, it goes away quite quickly

    also never smoke weed

I didn’t have a panic attack, i just found out. I have other issues.

  • courtez09:

    Oh sorry I …
Oh sorry I misunderstood. Don’t get me wrong, a panic attack can definitely feel like you’re fainting, one of the biggest fears is passing out/fainting with no control, it just won’t happen like that, its mainly the fear of that.

  • Drem0raL0rd:

    I might have had …
I might have had that though. But i don’t understand why i feel the worst in the evening. Every evening since 3 days ago, i’ve been feeling … scared.. i guess, i’ve been having this weird sensation in my chest, and i’ve been having a heat sensation. Sometimes if i get too scared thinking about it or something, i can get dizzy and i feel something coming out of my chest. Other then that, i just feel like i’m anxious all day long.

  • Drem0raL0rd:

    I went to a doctor …
I went to a doctor and he said i need to take it easy, i’m tired. But I guess it has something to do with anxiety since i’m feeling like that…

  • courtez09:

    Sounds like a …
Sounds like a textbook anxiety disorder to me but I don’t know whether you’re having panic attacks or not? You should get some help :) In my opinion, doctors are terrible because they’re not trained in mental health, so a counsellor is a much better option. But whatever suits I guess :) As for the evening I guess it depends on the person. I tend to feel worse in the morning.
