Often associated with nervousness and fear, anxiety can become an illness where you can experience irrational feelings. Some of the symptoms of anxiety disorders include sweating, nausea, hot flushes and chest pains. But, these are quite common symptoms and are sometimes diagnosed wrongly or they are just overlooked.

There are a lot of types of anxiety, including post trauma anxiety, social anxiety disorder, panic anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety. If you think that you have anxiety disorder, you should look for the advice of a doctor.

Here are a few guidelines on how you can deal with anxiety in 5 steps. You should talk with a doctor and only use these tips as an add on.

Step 1: Relaxation Techniques

If you can learn how to relax you can fight the anxiety attack symptoms, like sweating, racing heartbeat, muscle tension and tremors. Learn techniques like muscle relaxation and meditation and use them to relax when an anxiety attack is coming.

Step 2: Exercise

You should always exercise if you want to remain healthy. If you’re healthy you can keep yourself at a good psychological level. Also, make sure you rest well and you keep the environment relaxed around you.

Step 3: Balanced Diet

A diet that is balanced can provide you with the nutrients that you need to be at your best. Don’t drink coffee and don’t use anything from the alcohol, cigarettes or drugs categories. That’s because they speed up your heartbeat and can provoke the anxiety disorder symptoms.

Step 4: Seek Emotional Support

You should learn to spot when you have problems and ask for the help from your friends and family when you need it. Tell them what happened and let them help you to recover from anxiety disorder. If you can, look for advice on how you can eliminate anxiety. Support groups can also be a good idea and can help you.

PostHeaderIcon Can Medication Cure Panic Attack?

Majority of people have no idea on how to deal with mental illnesses such as stress, depression, anxiety or panic attack. Hence, they will look for the easiest and most popular way, which is taking medication

Generally, there are few reasons why people may consider taking medication as their primary remedy for these illnesses. – Powerful control over sickness – Well established brand by commercial – Convenient to bring – Guaranteed no side effects – Moreover if problem can be diminishing by swallow a tiny tablet, then it is just incredibly fantastic!

Before taking any of these drugs, you have to realize the following:

o Control rather than cure
Medication are truly useful to relief yourself from torment of anxiety or panic. It is able to let you come out from the darkness and stable down your mind. However, the problem is only solved temporary.

Prescribed medication only masks the root cause of panic attacks, which only meant for temporary control rather than cure. Essential solution is to discover the root cause of why your body is reacting such a way instead of covering it up with the little tablet.

o It never ends
Simon is someone accompanying you every time you are feeling down or helpless, he gives you direction when you are lost, lonely or panic. Day after day, you can not live without him because he is the angel of your life.

Above is just an implication I want to express. What will happen if Simon equivalent to panic control drug?

Prescription medications provide relief but at the same time, are addictive. You will continuously rely to these drugs even if you should not.

The vital solution is to find out the root cause and treat it with proper ways.

o Worse case
Anyone who had taken the medication for years will find out that the effects of the drugs is not as effective as it used to. He may end up increase the dosage of the medication to maintain its effectiveness. The dosage is become larger or stronger drug is prescribed, and the cycle never ends.

The remarkable part about these drug prescription commercials is the disclaimer they ramble off quickly near the end listing the side affects that some of these prescription drugs can produce. Be sure to read the disclaimer carefully.

To correctly access these panic attack medications, these are the 5 points to check:

i) Following professional advice is mandatory when talking about these medications. You should never decide the right medication on your own, nor follow the prescription of a friend.

ii) Frequency and intensity of panic attacks will determine what medication the physician is going to prescribe for you.

iii) Your physician could probably prescribe you more than one medication to sort out the one that will be working with you. Do not be afraid of that.

iv) Use the minimal amount of medication needed, both in time and in dosage. Request your physician to start that way.

v) As soon as you encounter uneasy side effects or signs of addiction, turn immediately to your physician and let him know. See if a revision of the therapy is needed.

The commercials make the “cure” sound so wonderful: take a pill and all your anxiety attack symptoms will be gone. It is very tempting to be seduced into a quick-fix. However, you should take a pro-active approach and do further researches before you buy into these so-called “cures”.

It is not the drugs that contain addictive substances but the human themselves could not stop relying on the temporary effectiveness.

Do You Feel Any Of The Following Bodily Sensations?
Dizzy spells leading to panic
Tightness in throat and chest- shortness of breath
Racing heart with tingle sensations

Not feeling connected to what is going on around you
Overwhelming fear that the anxiety will push you over the edge?

These and other similar uncomfortable sensations are all too common but the truth is you do not have to ever suffer from another panic attack or anxiety attack again

I’ll explain why

Most of the people I deal with have been struggling with anxiety disorders for many years and have usually exhausted themselves looking for a solution in every book, course, or treatment program out there. By the time they get to me, they are very skeptical (as is natural) and have little faith in ever getting rid of their condition.

PostHeaderIcon Dream Theater - Panic Attack

Song / Panic Attack
Album / Octavarium
Artist / Dream Theater
Year / 2005

Lyrics :
All wound up
On the edge
Terrified

Sleep disturbed
Restless mind
Petrified

Bouts of fear
Permeate
All I see

Heightening
Nervousness
Threatens me

I am paralyzed
So afraid to die

Caught off guard
Warning signs
Never show

Tension strikes
Choking me
Worries grow

Why do I feel so numb
Is it something to do with where I come from
Should this be fight or flight
I don’t know why I’m constantly so uptight

Rapid heartbeat pounding through my chest
Agitated body in distress
I feel like I’m in danger
Daily life is strangled by my stress

A stifling surge
Shooting through all my veins
Extreme apprehension
Suddenly I’m insane

Lost all hope for redemption
A grave situation desperate at best

Why do I feel so numb
Is it something to do with where I come from
Should this be fight or flight
I don’t know why I’m constantly reeling

Helpless hysteria
A false sense of urgency
Trapped in my phobia
Possessed by anxiety

Run
Try to hide
Overwhelmed by this complex delirium

Helpless hysteria
A false sense of urgency
Trapped in my phobia
Possessed by anxiety

Run
Try to hide
Overwhelmed by this complex delirium

PostHeaderIcon Panic Attacks On 5 Year Olds- Get To Know What To Do! Don’t Neglect!

Panic attacks and anxiety disorders affect even 5 year olds. The difference between these panic attacks on children and the same on adults is that the former one is tougher to detect. It is often misdiagnosed as a deficit disorder when it actually happens to be a panic attack on the child. Even hyperactivity is suspected sometimes, the main reason being the symptoms are close to being the same for both these kind of disorders. So it is often misdiagnosed in children.

While the anxiety disorders or attacks happen for some reason or the other and can be fairly identified, the panic attacks are never predictable. It can happen more than twice without any reason at all. The problem lies in identifying these causes. When these have an effect on 5 year olds, it might or might not have a cause depending on the diagnosis, but still it is advised to be addressed. The fact that it is hard to explain what the 55 year old feels makes these panic attacks unpredictable.

Like adults, children too have their own worries. It becomes disaster only when these worries and tension turn into panic and attacks their ability to live normally. This is quite a serious problem that can happen to any child. It can happen to them anywhere, especially at school or at home. These panic attacks can be specific as well, depending on the lifestyle of the kid, mostly just like adults. Adults understand it better than children, obviously. When these panic attacks have their impact on children, patient diagnoses and treatment is desired. Every child is unique and heir behaviors vary from how they do in school and at home.

The main two reasons for panic attacks on 5 year olds is the agony of separation and the avoidance factor, the latter being the more severe one. Some children may just have anxiety on less specific things and thus making diagnosing a tad difficult. But 5 year olds, especially boys, find it very tough to cope up with their parent’s separation, for instance. Being avoided too makes it a problem for these young kids as they all thrive for attention and care at that age. The child carrying an abuse may feel shy to let it out, thus inviting panic attacks on it.

Panic attacks on children reveal in various forms, ranging from physical to psychological. Physical symptoms include intense sweating and difficulty in breathing. Psychological symptoms could be hard to explain for the child, but they mostly include abuse and avoidance. Children are often left bemused over their state, as it is understandably hard for them to perceive their problem. The child may be suffering from agoraphobia or the fear of social situations. The parents have to take extra care and concern on these budding children when they have an idea about the panic attacks their child is suffering from.

The first thing you do when you identify that your child is having panic attacks is to understand to avoid minimizing the problem. Patient treatment and good relaxation can solve this issue.
